Project overview


This project with HusCompagniet is a demonstration family house located in Herning, Denmark. The house is developed to showcase modern residential construction solutions.Visitors are able to explore architectural layouts, material choices, and contemporary housing solutions within a completed full-scale home.



As part of the collaboration between us and HusCompagniet, GranuTex 44 Bio was installed as blown-in roof insulation within the demonstration house roof construction, introducing textile-based insulation into a modern low-energy residential setting. The project created an opportunity to showcase and gain experience with how recycled textile materials can be integrated into contemporary family housing while supporting comfort, functionality, and modern construction practices.


  • The project showcases how modern family housing can combine functionality, daylight, material quality, and energy-conscious construction within a real residential setting.


  • Visitors are able to experience architectural layouts, room proportions, material choices, and housing solutions that are difficult to fully understand through drawings alone.


  • The house was designed as a modern 170 m² angle family home with open living spaces, large window sections, and direct access to outdoor areas that support everyday family life.


  • As part of the public exhibition environment, the project helped introduce textile-based insulation solutions within a broader conversation about future residential construction and modern housing design.
