How are your insulation products installed?

Our insulation batts are installed in the same way as conventional insulation materials. They can be cut to size with a straight-edged insulation knife and fitted snugly between wall or ceiling joists.

Made from soft textile fibres, they are comfortable to handle and easy to install-requiring no specialised tools or equipment beyond standard protective gear.

What is the fire resistance of your insulation products?

Accepted Answer

All Insutex insulation products are tested and classified according to EN 13501-1, the European standard for reaction to fire.

They currently hold a Euroclass E fire classification, which meets the requirements for selected building applications. Insutex is committed to the continuous research and development of its products to drive innovation and support the long-term competitiveness of its customers, including enhancements in fire performance.

Where do your insulation materials come from?

Our insulation materials are sourced exclusively from recycled textile waste, including polyester, cotton and wool fibers. We primarily work with local waste management providers to ensure that our products are made from recycled materials.
